The Trilogy Skate Park

Officially opened on October 9, 1999, the Trilogy Skate Park is one of the prime skate parks in the mid-west. The Skate Park, which encompasses 15,000 square feet, has become a welcome spot for skateboarders and in-line skaters.

In collaboration with local skaters, Wormhoudt Landscape Architecture of Santa Cruz, CA, designed the park. The local skaters were able to voice their opinions on what they wanted in the Skate Park. A design was drawn, which was then sent to California where they were refined into a design that could be constructed. The plans were then sent back to the group for approval.

Costing approximately $283,000, the Skate Park includes half pipes, quarter pipes, spine, ledges, rails, pyramids and flat panels. The Skate Park has rules that skaters must follow. The Skate Park is located at Currie Park, across from the tridge and is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
